Welcome to my blog, Ladies’ Geek Journal. My name is Kate Caplis and I am a motion designer and video editor living in Illinois. I work with and sometimes against Mac OS and Windows computers, all kinds of video codecs, design software, digital cameras, and video cameras in the course of doing what I do. I am also an amateur musician and photographer and there are all kinds of toys to explore for that!
I am the neighbor, friend or sister that sets up your stereo, fixes your computer and sends the wacky emails with Internet links that I think you would like. So, I decided I would start a blog and share it with the world — which is mostly made up of my neighbors, friends and family.
If you find a cool link, want to send a sample of your software, or tech toy for me to review, comment below. I can’t promise a positive review, but it will be a fair review by a lady geek! So comment already, I would love to hear from you!
