Tubetastic Tuesday – Climate Change
Not only is this video interesting — and so are the others, so please watch or bookmark the channel — but what I find also remarkable is the use of YouTube Channel to promote the conference. It is a great way to get the word out.
If you click here you will go to the COP15 video channel where they explain the conference, have a collection of videos about climate change and are asking for submissions that will be played during the conference. From the channel:
To mitigate the effects of climate change, it is the Danish government’s view that we all must act and do our part. Here on YouTube, we invite you to “Raise your voice”, and we will make it heard inside the conference meeting rooms where leaders of the world are gathered at COP15.
The “Raise your voice” channel is part of a collaboration between the Government of Denmark and Google/YouTube to focus on increasing awareness of climate change.
Greenpeace International also is using YouTube to get the word out.
Here, Kamal Meattle shows how easy it is to make our own fresh air.
